South Park has confirmed that the animated series would be returning to Comedy Central later this July, and has dropped the first teaser trailer for what to expect from the coming episodes.

Blame Canada. Comedy Central on Wednesday announced that South Park returns for season 27 on Wednesday, July 9, with the first new episodes since the shortened six-episode season 26 aired in 2023.

"Times have changed," a voice declares at the start of the South Park trailer, and viewers are then given a glimpse into the upcoming season, with a rapid-fire montage of what's in store.
