Investigations Oregon academy bans popular police handgun The Oregon state police academy is banning Sig Sauer P320 handguns due to safety concerns, following Washington's lead.

Sig Sauer settled one class action suit in 2020 alleging the P320 pistols made before Aug. 8, 2017, did not include a disconnector safety, which prevents the pistol from firing out of battery.
