SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Big Sioux River in Sioux Falls is sitting below average in terms of streamflow for this time of year, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
SIOUX FALLS – Keeping cattle waste out of the river that runs through the state’s largest city will cost about $11 million over the next five years, and the city will pay more than half the price.
The city of Sioux Falls is partnering with South Dakota State University for its 13th annual conference on caring for the Big Sioux River.
A new 66,000-square-foot library opened at 215 N. Wyman St. with panoramic views of the Rock River in June 2024.
