According to law enforcement, the smoke could be seen from the Bass Lake Dam. After arriving on the scene, deputies say they found an RV fully engulfed in flames and the owner nowhere to be found.

The Cachuma Lake Recreational Area has been undergoing $14 million in upgrades that include new concrete parking pads, new electrical hookups, and new sewage and water lines for RV hookup sites.
