The 36-year-old was about 10 miles west of Wabasha when he crashed. The motorcyclist crashed after swerving in order to avoid animals on the roadway Sunday morning.

Authorities say the pursuit began after a "juvenile female" was spotted driving without headlights turned on around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
