The dancers performed traditional African and original dances. There were two teams of dancers, juniors and seniors plus drummers giving the beat. Some of the crowd was pulled in to join the fun.

Janete Silva will take participants through the experience of dancing with the "Bloco Afro" Carnaval groups of her native Bahia which celebrate cultural manifestations of African origin.
