The park will be located along the 2.25-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Summit Lake Trail. During construction, the trail will be temporarily rerouted along South Street, according to a news release.

Note to park and civic leaders: Please, please complete phase two and extend this park all the way to Lake Erie.
