Ahead of Halloween, a group of spooky season addicts will gather at a cemetery in Columbus, Ohio, to attempt to break the world record of the largest gathering of people dressed as ghosts.

The Ohio Department of Commerce's Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing oversees the registration of over 4,000 cemeteries across the state to make sure those cemeteries are maintained.

Currently, there are more than 1 million veterans living in the State of Ohio and approximately 540,000 residing in the cemetery’s service area, according to the National Cemetery Administration.

Robert Morrissey, president of the Gilboa Rural Cemetery Association, explained funds on hand will not be sufficient to mow the 2.5 acres during the 2013 growing season.
