Ford claims that affected vehicles are not equipped with auto stop-start technology. As one might imagine, the remedy came in the form of a software update for the powertrain control module.

Back in October 2022, the Ford Motor Company recalled 31,339 units ... the Dearborn-based automaker finally acknowledged that a software update should fix the recall condition.

2022 and 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning EVs will charge faster after a software update. The over-the-air software increases the peak charging current. This cuts the 10% to 80% charge time by about 11%.
