The Braille Press at Blind People’s Association (BPA) has come up with the braille version of Oxford English-Gujarati Dictionary in 2013-14.
Over 10,000 words have been added by the Gujarat Vidyapith to the Gujarati dictionary ' Sarth Gujarati Jodani Kosh '. And more than 50% of the new entries are English words.
Irrespective of the board, including the CBSE, ICSE, IB, CISEC or IGCSE, teaching Gujarati will be mandatory for every school in the state, according to Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama.
