A dog named Superman was rescued from the wreckage following the catastrophic flooding in Central Texas. This is his story.

Richmond Animal Care and Control rescued a male pit bull mix on Jan. 16 after finding the dog abandoned at a bus stop during freezing weather in Richmond, Virginia.

The dog had red, patchy skin and was suffering from kennel cough. It was clear that he'd been on his own for a while. Once in the shelter system, many dogs are overlooked and forgotten.
