Mardi Gras is in full swing in Soulard with the Purina Pet Parade beginning at 1 p.m. at 12th and Russell Streets.

The Peninsula SPCA’s Fur Ball returns for its 17th year with Nashville Nights from 5-11 p.m. March 8 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610 Coliseum Drive. Tickets are available through March 1.
