The ECB is looking to build a state-of-the-art indoor cricket stadium. It would be the first venue of its kind in the UK and the biggest infrastructure project in English cricket history.

CRICKET chiefs are ready to change Test match history by building an indoor stadium in the UK. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) are set to splash £500million on the groundbreaking project.

The inaugural Indoor Cricket World Cup was held in 1995 hosted by England while Australia has conducted the most in the year 1999, 2009 and 2022 when it was last held at Brisbane.
