CHELTENHAM — Details on plans being made to accommodate the proposed closing of the Elkins Park School at the end of the current school year were presented at a Feb. 26 public hearing.

The funds were approved by Gloucestershire County Council for the site in Alstone Croft, Cheltenham. It is hoped the school, which will cater for primary and secondary pupils, will open in 2028.
