It was just two years ago that Cardinals tight end Trey McBride had his first meeting with the team’s new coaching staff, including offensive coordinator Drew Petzing.

Trey McBride is now the highest-paid tight end in NFL history after he agreed to a four-year, $76 million extension with the Cardinals, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. According to the report, McBride will make $43 million guaranteed and get an average of $19 million per year, the largest amount for an NFL tight end.
