Val Kilmer, the wide-ranging actor who earned critical praise, has died at 65. As a leading man in roles such as Iceman in "Top Gun" and Jim Morrison in the 1991 Oliver Stone film "The Doors," Kilmber could be charismatic but unpredictable.
