Students from the University of South Carolina started a recent campaign using the ice bucket challenge to raise mental health awareness

The Ice Bucket Challenge is back. The challenge that splashed through social media in 2014 as people all over the world dumped buckets of ice water on their head to raise money and awareness for ALS ( Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) research is returning, but this time for a new cause.

A blast from the past, the Ice Bucket Challenge, seems to be back. The ALS Foundation, a non-profit organisation that funds Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis research, flooded their Instagram with videos and reels of the challenge. As per Dexerto, the challenge first made rounds on social media platforms in 2014.
