An outfielder who debuted with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1961, and made World Series history three years later with the St. Louis Cardinals, has died.

There have been 120 World Series in MLB history, which means the Yankees ... Bob Gibson pitched the Cards to championships in 1964 and 1967, winning the World Series MVP both years.

Former Cincinnati Reds All-Star infielder Tommy Helms, who twice served as the Reds' interim manager, has died. He was 83.
