A five-time winner of the green jacket, Tiger Woods recently had surgery and will miss playing at Augusta National after an Achilles injury in March.

Much to the chagrin of golf fans everywhere, Tiger Woods won't be playing in the Masters this year - if he even steps on the golf course at all in 2025 it might be a miracle. Earlier this year the 15-time major champion announced he suffered a torn Achilles while attempting to ramp up for the season.

The pro golfer celebrated April Fools' Day with a classic dad joke Tiger Woods started to give fans hope that he healed enough from a ruptured Achilles tendon to compete at the Masters next week — until they checked the date on the calendar.
