Breaking down the Bears' need for an edge rusher in the draft, who they could get to best fit the need and whether it needs to be a priority for GM Ryan Poles.

Getting a player who can be, as Poles described, disruptive as Odeyingbo is, that will allow defensive coordinator Dennis Allen to put him in different positions to maximize his success. Although he's mainly slotted at defensive end, Poles said they will play Odeyingbo in different spots on the line when the timing is right.

Coach Ben Johnson and his staff figure to have a say in matters, too. They have worked with Poles the last two weeks in acquiring offensive linemen Joe Thuney, Jonah Jackson and Drew Dalman, defensive linemen Dayo Odeyingbo and Grady Jarrett and backup tight end Durham Smythe.
