The head of an NYPD transit district in Queens was stripped of his command amid allegations that he had police reports forged to downplay subway crimes on his watch, sources tell The Post. Capt. Steven Hyland,

It was reported to police that on Sunday, Feb. 23, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a 7-year-old boy and his 37-year-old mother were approached and the boy was pushed to the ground by an unidentified individual inside the 21st Street-Queensbridge subway station, on a northbound F train platform.

A 7-year-old child was assaulted while standing with his mother at a Queens subway station last month, the NYPD says. The incident happened back on Feb. 23 inside the 21 Street-Queensbridge subway station.
