Thousands of responders from multiple states and Mexico spent another day scouring river banks in central Texas in search of flood victims. No new survivors have been found this week and families are coping with enormous losses.

The two children were identified as Charlotte Trotter, 4, and Sebastian Trotter, 7, according to their aunt Tiffanie Wyatt. She said their father, Sebastian Trotter, a solder based at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, and their mother, Stephanie, both suffered serious injuries but survived and were receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Texas.
"I would like to add that we have included in this new genus a species from Texas that was described under another generic name and is now called Microphreatus coronae (Hershler, 1987) Czaja comb. nov. (approx. 0.03 inches in size)," Czaja said. "With that, this new genus Microphreatus has two species, one in Texas and another in Coahuila, Mexico."
