Just days into the developer beta release cycle for the next iPhone software, Apple has slipped out a new update already.

Apple’s upcoming iOS 26 software update has sparked strong backlash from fans and designers, with many criticizing its new translucent interface as “ugly,” hard to read, and lacking Apple’s signature elegance.

The Wallet app is already home for using Apple Card, Apple Pay, electronic car keys and for storing tickets and passes. In iOS 26, you can create a new Digital ID that acts like a passport for age and identity verification (though it does not replace a physical passport) for domestic travel for TSA screening at airports.
