A person was found dead after a house fire in Forsyth County Friday, according to officials. Officials said firefighters responded to a home at 9040 Fairlane Trail just before 5 a.m. Friday. A one-story house was burned down in the fire and firefighters found “the remains of one person” inside,

Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers says it happened at a home in the northeastern part of the county off of Bethel Road. Shivers says they were called out by concerned neighbors. Three nearby homes were also damaged by the heat.
