South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said he will ‘’soon'' meet U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss relations between the two countries.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said he spoke to US President Donald Trump about relations between the two countries and the war in Ukraine.

Both Trump and Putin discussed the meeting in phone calls to Ramaphosa. The visit appears to have boosted South Africa’s diplomatic stature at a time when its relations with the US have hit rock bottom.
