The amount of $4.1 million was named as the projected price for acquisition, remodeling and preservation of the previous Spaghetti Works location, according to the Teehee's co-owners.

The painting features Kimberly Teehee, whom the Cherokee Nation named in 2019 as its delegate to Congress. The U.S. House of Representatives has yet to seat her.
