Tamil Nadu ranks second in the country in terms of tourist arrivals, with 28.40 crore tourists - including 9.63 lakh foreign nationals - visiting the state in the past year, Tourism Minister R.

Chennai: Tamil Nadu attracts nearly 25% of India's medical tourists, according to health minister Ma Subramanian.The state drew more than 15 lakh patients annually from more than 70 countries.
