With CinemaCon in full swing and DC Studios head honcho James Gunn mere months away from bringing his new-look DCU to the big screen with the hotly anticipated release of Superman, excitement — and nerves — are building as fans wait with baited breath to see if David Corenswet's Kal-El has the Krypton factor or not.

At Cinemacon, Gunn and stars David Corenswet (Superman), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane) and Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor) shared stories from set, while DC Studios co-chief Peter Safran talked up the inspirations for Krypto, noting the canine was inspired by Gunn’s real dog, Ozo.
