The irony shouldn’t be lost on anyone that “No Other Land,” a documentary about the systemic demolition of Palestinian homes in the West Bank, cannot find a cinematic home, either with a distributor or a major U.S. streamer.

In the face of the systematic destruction of the homes of Palestinian families who have lived for generations in Masafer Yatta, a group of villages in the West Bank, activists Basel Adra and Hamdan Ballal began the guerrilla work of filming those Israeli military operations in 2019.

No Other Land, Academy Award-nominated for Best Documentary Feature, opens today in New York at Film Forum from mTuckman Media/Cinetic Media with a limited theatrical expansion next weekend. The doc is written,
