A small brush fire broke out on Fort Huachuca several miles north of Charleston Road outside Sierra Vista. According to the Fort Huachuca, the fire was not due to a controlled burn.

Two proposed North Fork Valley drilling projects totaling a couple of hundred wells and dating back about a decade are up for further environmental review.
