At 1:24 a.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory in effect until 9 a.m. for Butte/Blackfoot Region.

Update: Winter weather advisory previously issued for Montana will expire at 6 a.m. The advisory was active for Helena Valley, Canyon Ferry area, Missouri Headwaters and Madison River Valley.
