Jigging spoons and minnow heads or dead sticking are both working. The perch bite has been a bit tougher this past week, but look to Midge Lake, Wolf Lake and Gull Lake for deep and suspended panfish.

Admission is free. There is a big ice fishing tournament being run by Doc’s Tackle and Ducks Unlimited on Saturday. The event will be held on Honeoye, Canadice and Hemlock lakes. Entry fee is $60.
