Yarra Trams operates 13 W-Class trams in its fleet, built between 1923 and 1956. It said the asbestos fibres were bound within the flooring material, which was covered and sealed.
The routes with no cameras are 1, 3, 12, 57, 64, 67 and 82, while those who travel on routes 5, 6, 16, 19, 48, 58 and 72 have some trams with and some trams without CCTV.
