A nurse practitioner has brought a historic downtown Thomasville building back to its roots as a medical clinic and saved it from a slow death of decay.

Greensboro police say northbound traffic on Lawndale Drive is shut down at the I-840 junction due to a crash with serious injuries. Drivers are asked to avoid this area.
