The Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Lakers faced off on Monday with Luka Doncic winding up on the losing end. The Magic walked away with a 118-106 win. Orlando was led by Franz Wagner, who finished with 32 points, nine assists, and five rebounds. Additionally, Paolo Banchero finished with 30 points and seven rebounds.

JJ Redick's NBA career began with the Orlando Magic when they drafted him with the No. 11 pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. Now, he returns to Orlando as the Los Angeles Lakers coach. Redick spent six and a half seasons with the Magic to start out the beginning of his career.

The Lakers’ roster was back at full strength on Saturday, when LeBron James returned from a seven-game absence due to a groin strain and Rui Hachimura was back after missing 12 games with a knee injury. But, Los Angeles was routed at home that night, falling 146-111 to the Chicago Bulls.
