Eagles owner believes OC Kellen Moore is leaving to become Saints coach
It seems the Philadelphia Eagles will lose offensive coordinator Kellen Moore shortly after capturing their second Super Bowl championship. Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie said Sunday night after his team’s victory that he expects Moore to become the next Saints head coach.
According to NFL Network's insider Mike Garafolo, Moore is the most likely head coach for the Saints after a strong second interview. However, nothing can be finalized before the Super Bowl.
“Kellen Moore really wanted this Cowboys job ... as he did six seasons ago when he was fired in Green Bay. And that means Moore is now the favorite to take over the Saints.
Moore has been the top candidate for the vacant Saints job since completing a pair of interviews with New Orleans last month.
