A room full of city leaders and business owners gathered at City Hall in McDonough Monday night to discuss problems in the city’s historic downtown district.
The Metro Nashville Council has advanced a bill that would wrap the Gulch into a downtown district that comes with a special levy.
The boundaries of the social district would likely be centered on the Stillwater’s historic downtown, stretching from the St. Croix River to a few blocks to the west.
