For the game, they will be without their best player, as Donovan Mitchell has been ruled out. The All-Star guard is averaging 24.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 44.

Donovan Mitchell limped toward the makeshift press conference area inside the Cavs’ locker room and was prepared to recap the team’s squandered clinch chance when his phone rang. It was coach Kenny Atkinson.
