The story is about Bala Nagamma, a young princess. The King prays for progeny and is blessed with children, the youngest of them is named Bala Nagamma. She is married off to Karyavardi Raju.

Bala played a cameo role in the film, which also featured Dhyan Sreenivasan in a pivotal role. The movie, unfortunately, flopped at the box office as it received mixed reviews from the audiences.
