Jack McVeigh led the Hawks with 20 points. Kobe Bufkin and rookie first-round pick Asa Newell contributed matching 14-point, two-assist tallies while pulling down six and eight rebounds, respectively. Newell added two steals and two blocks. Kobe Johnson furnished 12 points, four boards and two assists.

The Memphis Grizzlies dropped their second consecutive game, losing to the Atlanta Hawks in the summer league in Las Vegas.

The Atlanta Hawks sent a lot of talent to Vegas this summer, including three recent draft picks. While each of the Hawks’ top picks was productive, the overall performance of the Hawks’ key youngsters was mixed.
