Patriots star cornerback Christian Gonzalez limped off the practice field Monday after he suffered an apparent leg injury in the team's first padded-practice of training camp. The severity of his injury has yet to be determined.

One of the Patriots' top cornerbacks returned to the practice field Thursday. But it wasn't Christian Gonzalez.

Gonzalez left Monday's practice with an undisclosed injury and he remained off the field on Tuesday and Wednesday. Head coach Mike Vrabel did not offer any details about Gonzalez's issue at his Wednesday press conference, but did say that he does not expect to see him back in action for several days.
