Our winds will also be a bit breezy, but nothing like we saw Tuesday night and into Wednesday. The National Weather Service has put much of Siouxland under a Winter Weather Advisory starting this evening until 6 PM Friday. We will likely see this Winter Weather Advisory be upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning.

Winds relax late in the day as clouds increase. Another round of snow arrives on Friday with only minor accumulations expected. Most areas will only see under an inch of snow, but some may pick up as much as 2 inches.

Rain across the Chicago area is changing over to snow late Wednesday afternoon and evening, as temperatures start to take a tumble. Winds are also picking up with gusts as high as 45 mph. Meteorologist David Yeomans has the latest First Alert Weather forecast.
