LA is set to bring in three-time All-Star Bradley Beal, who spent the past two seasons with the Suns. Beal and the Suns reached a buyout agreement on Wednesday, July 16, paving the way for the Clippers to sign Beal on a two-year deal worth $11 million, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Before signing with the Los Angeles Clippers, veteran shooting guard Bradley Beal reportedly was pursued by the other Hollywood team.
"I'm told James Harden was a focal point in recruiting Bradley Beal internally but also speaking directly to Beal and his camp. The Clippers really view Bradley Beal as a perfect fit alongside Kawhi Leonard and James Harden ," Charania said.
Bradley Beal is set to join the Los Angeles Clippers, and James Harden is reportedly a major reason behind the move.
According to NBA Insider Brett Seigel, Bradley Beal refused to join the Lakers despite extensive conversation between his representation and the team.
NBA All-Star point guard Chris Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers reportedly agreed to a one-year deal on Monday, reuniting him with the team.
