Our First Alert Weather Day continues into early Sunday morning as a wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain has settled upon the Tri-State Area.

T​he new week will bring two more winter storms sweeping across the country in the week ahead spreading more snow and ice through the Northeast, Midwest and Plains, continuing a parade of systems since last week.

A fast-moving winter storm packing a dangerous combination of snow, sleet and ice is moving through the Midwest on Saturday afternoon, with up to a foot of snow predicted in parts of the Northeast by Sunday morning.
