The National Weather Service is warning of strong winds, heavy rain, large hail and tornadoes. Middle Tennessee is expected to experience severe storms Friday and throughout the weekend.

Numerous tornadoes touched down on Friday into early Saturday in the mid-South and Midwest, including several near St. Louis, a damaging tornado in Rolla and one in Hartville, Missouri.
