Horror swept through the crowd of onlookers in Tel Aviv's "Hostage Square" on Saturday as the three emaciated faces of hostages freed by Hamas in Gaza appeared on screen.

Yafo, Israel - 08, 2025 Dozens of Israelis gathered Saturday in what is known as Hostage Square in central Tel Aviv to watch live the fifth hostage release in the Gaza Strip of the truce with Hamas, in which three men will be released in exchange for more than a hundred Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.

Militants handed Yarden Bibas and French-Israeli Ofer Kalderon to Red Cross officials in the southern city of Khan Younis, while American-Israeli hostage Keith Siegel, looking pale and thin, was released to the Red Cross later Saturday morning in Gaza City to the north.
