The site plan for the proposed Lake County Convention Center in Gary includes a 300-room Hard Rock Hotel, as well as additional hotels and restaurants located across 29th Avenue near Burr Street.

The plan commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. May 27 at the Mt. Vernon High School auditorium to discuss and vote on a recommendation for the MegaSite plan.
