Phoenix police officers are investigating a shooting reported Wednesday at a hotel near Interstate 17 and McDowell Road.

The Phoenix Police Department arrested a suspect in its oldest cold case for the murder of an 18-year-old woman.

Janice Laborin, 41, died after Surprise police officers found her in a car located near Dysart Road and Elm Street on Feb. 9.
