Even with the Steelers awaiting an Aaron Rodgers decision, this is where Sanders comes in. Pittsburgh lost both Wilson and Fields in free agency, and have just Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson on the depth chart. The Steelers can bring in Sanders and see how he fits into their system in case they do want to trade up and draft him.

Sanders was highly productive in college while at Colorado, helping his teammate Travis Hunter win the Heisman Trophy as a wide receiver and cornerback. He threw for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions with an excellent 74 percent completion percentage.

Colorado offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur sent a message to the Steelers and 31 other NFL teams that if they need a quarterback, Sanders is the guy to take a bet on in this class.
