There the mainframe still rules ... There’s a tale unfolding about the ownership of a much older IBM room-sized computer at the moment.

The IBM mainframe is the longest running computer family in history. Although current IBM mainframes are vastly superior in technology to the System/360, they are highly compatible with it.

The company alleged LzLabs' UK subsidiary Winsopia purchased an IBM mainframe computer and agreed a licence with IBM in 2013, before using the access to reverse-engineer IBM's mainframe software.
